By publishing your listing at CHAKKR, you agree to our terms of service.

How does it work?

CHAKKR gets you the best offers from courier and transportation sector, by engaging them to compete to win YOUR shipment job. more »

After you post your shipment request on CHAKKR, couriers (both professional and private) will start bidding on it to get your shipment job.

You can check all the bids, ask/clarify open questions etc., and choose a courier which fits you in terms of your expectation regarding price, timing, service, insurance etc.

After you choose the courier, we will connect you both so that you and your courier can organize the meetup/pick-up/delivery etc. as per what you have agreed with each other.

Is my request binding?

No! Your request is with NO OBLIGATION. You are not forced or obliged to accept any bid. more »

In fact, if none of the bids are acceptable for you, you can even decide not to accept anyone. But neverthless, in such cases its often helpful to review your shipment details and description and make necessary enhancements as needed in order to attract good bids from couriers.

Will I receive multiple sales phone calls?

Your phone number is protected by a service fee and is not visible to normal users and search engines. more »

When a courier places a bid on your request, you are informed ONLY via email, so you can review them when it's convenient to you.

Sometimes couriers may prefer to fill their capacity as soon as possible, and would like to contact you directly on phone. This is good for you, as it gives you the best price and conditions, since your request is used to fill the extra capacity which the courier has.

In this case, they must unlock your phone number from us, by paying us a small fee. This is done to protect your privacy and prevent mis-use of your contact data.

What about insurance, transit duty etc.?

When a courier is placing a bid on your request, they will inform you about their insurance services (if any), as well as any specific terms and conditions regarding the shipment. more »

Should you not recieve this information, or is something not clear, we suggest you to ask about it explicitly to the courier, to avoid any conflicts later. You should do this using the messaging facilities on our pages.

Please note that ALL COMMUNICATIONS MADE THROUGH CHAKKR SERVE AS PROOF IN THE EVENT OF LATER CONFLICTS. So, it is in YOUR interest to do all communications ONLY using our messaging facilities. That can always help to save you from troubles later.

Should I choose the bid from a private courier or professional courier?

Generally it is always advisable to choose a courier which best fits YOUR requirements and budget/time restrictions. more »

Private couriers are generally travelers who offer themselves to do some courier job on the routes of their travel. For this reason, they tend to be relatively cheaper and very fast in delivery, than professional couriers. But private couriers may not be able to offer you services like insurance coverage, tracking etc.

To sum up, please consider your shipment requirement details (the worth of the goods, special handling etc.), the urgency, your budget constraints etc., and you will be able to judge for yourself the best offer.
