CHAKKR - SHARE YOUR TRAVEL

CHAKKR is an international online community, whose members worldwide help each other by sharing their travel, and delivering parcels and packages for each other. Its a global travel and courier sharing platform where anyone can share his or her travel, and/or be a courier, and anyone can find the optimal; low cost and fast; offers for their travel and courier needs.

Travelers can take other people, or packages with them, during their travel. They can do this either as a free service to the community, or against some payment from the one in need. It is entirely upto the traveller to decide on that.

This kind of travel sharing between people worldwide promotes maximum utilization of moving resources, and keeps the environment clean and green.

If you want to travel somewhere, or ship something somewhere, you can get on to CHAKKR website, and search for travellers travelling in the route for your need. For example, if you want to send something from Paris to Mumbai, you can search for CHAKKRs travelling from Paris to Mumbai and contact them. It can go really fast and cheap than any existing professional courier companies.

In case, if you dont find a matching traveller who can take your package, you can always place your courier need on CHAKKR open, so that others can see it. Its the same way, as if you are placing an advertisement for your courier need, so as to get cheap and fast offers from courier companies (as well as individuals). In most cases, you will walk away quickly finding the best offer than you could have got from your local Post or courier company.

And yes, please dont forget to rate your fellow CHAKKR (the person who agreed with you take your package, and did it), so that he/she gets relevant credibility for his/her action.

On the other side, if you are travelling from A to B, and if you can take something with you and help a fellow CHAKKR, you can first search for CHAKKRs who wants to send something which goes through your travel route or nearby. If you want to get paid for your service, you can also filter your search to look up only those needs which would atleast pay the minimum amount you expect for your service. Once you find one or more CHAKKRs whose needs match your travel schedule, you can contact them and make the deal.

In case, if you dont find a matching courier need from a fellow CHAKKR, fitting your travel route and schedule, you can always place your travel details on CHAKKR, with an offer about what you can take with you (eg : people, goods, parcels etc.), under what conditions, and including how much you would like to charge for your service. Very soon, you will be contacted then by one or more fellow CHAKKRs worldwide who may would like to use your offer, because they may find your offer as matching to their travel or courier need.

All communications between CHAKKRs are easy and fast using CHAKKR Messaging System.

CHAKKR gives you opportunity to publish your need to transport anything of any size from anywhere to anywhere. You can also request someone to bring something for you, from somewhere.

Here are a few cases how CHAKKR is being used most common:

• Sending gifts home, from abroad. => Want to send some gifts to your family/friends back home?
• Getting things from abroad to you. => Missing your favorite wine from France ?
• Sharing extra luggage on flights. => You have over-luggage, but the fellow traveller sitting next to you has only a handbag. Could not you both share?

CHAKKR is a lets-help-each-other community. This means that, at the core its based around the concept of society and community.

But, as in any case, the community understands the value of the service and is always ready to pay some fee to fellow CHAKKRs who are helping to transport things from A to B during their travel.

YES, of course. Like many other CHAKKRs, you can also make money by delivering couriers while your travel; or even better doing courier delivery as a full-time business.

CHAKKR is an open platform where people post their courier needs. You have access to an open customer base. If you can plan, and offer a better service and rates than standard Post and courier companies, you can win a lot of business on CHAKKR.

The usage of CHAKKR community platform is free. You can ask or look for courier needs or offer from fellow chakkrs, all for free. You can also contact fellow chakkrs for free.

In order to protect your contact details like phone number from public abuse, CHAKKR asks for a small fee from users who really would like to have to your express contact data. But of course, if you would like to publicly display your contact details (knowing the risks involved), you can always do so by paying a small fee to CHAKKR platform. In that case, everyone can view your complete contact details, in the so-called 'chakkr card' (displayed next to your profile or item). If you dont use such premium features, CHAKKR is fully free.

In fact, our recommendation is that you should always protect your contact data from publicly being displayed. This way, you can make sure that who ever is contacting you on phone or so, is a paid user and so is a serious user.

But, most of all CHAKKR at its core remains a community effort. You can help the community, as a service, or for a small/acceptable fee.
